 | On June 21, 2008 volunteers came together for a Day of Action - Sort-a-thon. Volunteers sorted and stuffed board books and learning material for children and parents of low-income families in Nashville. Enough books were donated so that 509 kids recieved five board books each!
That's a lot of books! With more than 3,000 donated books to sort, volunteers were able to put five books into each child's bag.
