Tocqueville and Boyd Event With Michael Carter - 2007Michael Carter, United Way's 2008 chair-elect, recently hosted a prospecting event at his home for the R.H. Boyd Leadership Society and the Tocqueville Society. Both societies are comprised of United Way donors and offer members networking and volunteer opportunities throughout the year, as well as activities designed to educate donors about United Way-funded programs and initiatives. John Anderson of Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation, whose childhood benefited from his neighborhood's Family Resource Center, was the evening's featured speaker.
