Eleven companies have loaned eighteen employees to work part-time in United Way of Metropolitan Nashville’s annual fundraising campaign this fall. United Way relies on these volunteers, called campaign consultants, to help its full-time staff reach the more than 500 companies that run a United Way campaign. Campaign consultants devote five to ten hours per week to United Way activities; the volunteer program runs through November 7.
“We really could not do a campaign without them,” said campaign cabinet member David Briggs, who is senior vice president - commercial executive with Bank of America. “We are extremely grateful to these dedicated volunteers and their generous companies.”
