Our Mission: To mobilize women to become powerful philanthropists through leadership, advocacy and fundraising.
Women United in Giving is an ongoing initiative specifically reaching out to women donors. Through this initiative, we are working to continually educate women regarding the vital role United Way plays in our community. Our goal is to bring women to the table to learn more about the pressing needs of our community, specifically children at risk. Proceeds from our annual events, the "Come to the Table for a Celebration of Thanks/Giving" Luncheon and the Women United in Giving Book Drive, are used to support Read to Succeed, United Way's early learning and literacy program for at-risk preschoolers.
