Location: Community Agency Summer Camps: Knowledge Quest School-Age Academy; Memphis Urban League Freedom Schools; Girls Incorporated; Agape; and 1 additional location TBD
Time: 9am – 11am
Festivities: Local celebrities and community volunteers will read to students at approximately 6 summer camps in various neighborhoods across the city. At one site, volunteers will work with campers on a “Create My Book” project to create a short story with illustrations.
