Festivities: United Way of Elizabethton/Carter County and the Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library are excited to announce that we will be participating in "Raise Your Hand Tennessee." During this event the kids will be read to all day, with the opportunity to make a craft. Also, Rookie the mascot from the Elizabethton Twins will be there reading to the children. If you would like to participate than let's be a true Volunteer sign up before June 21, 2012 for RYHTN to help encourage our children to read.
