United Ways of Tennessee has a committee on Income and Financial Stability that drives our activities in this arena. Our objectives are to:
- Create/identify and disseminate turnkey educational products and best practices
- Promote EITC/VITA efforts and 2-1-1
- Support TAFI and membership efforts
- Expand statewide partnerships
- Track and respond to policies impacting VITA, food stamps, and related areas in collaboration with the UWTN Public Policy Committee
